Christmas Music To Sip With

Post by TDick »

I figured it was time for some Christmas music.
Had to start with this one because Chuck Leavell is from my hometown.'
In Junior High we'd have teen dances at the YMCA and his band would play.
Merry Christmas Everyone!

My other hobby is a modest Christmas light display synchronized to music over an FM radio transmitter.
You've seen those garish displays -that's what I do. Bamaberry, your song choice is perfect for that. Thanks, pal!

You are more than welcome.
Good luck with the decorations; you will like the rest of his Christmas album as well.

Hey Bama one good song deserves another. They chopped off the fade out, but you'll get the idea.
I have the complete version on my Christmas display and it's a favorite.
No it's not porn. Just an unfortunate name for a band. Bare Naked Ladies indeed.

I'd forgotten, but Mannheim Steamroller used to be one of my favorite musical groups - 35 years ago. I still have several of their albums.

They didn't start making Christmas albums until later on, and by now they have produced many... This links to a whole new album; one that I am not familiar with, but the first song sounds OK... Their older Christmas albums can be traced from there.

I for one take NO offense at the mention of Bare Naked Ladies, especially when Sara McLaughlin is involved in the conversation.
Merry Christmas!

It's very easy to forget just how talented Jose Feliciano is.
This is one of my favorite Christmas songs and his version is one a short list of favorites.
Nice in front of a fire with a glass of whiskey neat.

Yep Yummy. If I'd known these guys have better taste in booze than music, I would have started out with this one.

It's that time of the year again.
My Brother In Law is fishing for an invitation to come to our house this year.

I don't think I've heard that one. I especially like seeing all the old Christmas trees.

They look a little sparse compared to what SWMBO picks out.
