The remarks on this site are rather negative.
But I liked the idea and it seems to work extremely well.

There must have been serious drawbacks, but on this film it seems better than caterpillar.

Slick concrete bout all that's good for..Blacktop or gravel show you those wheels are expensive and probably backordered or build per order.

You are right: a caterpillar has no friction with the substrate when it is riding in a straight line, but this things derive their forward movement from this friction. On snow or loose soil that is no problem, but on hard soil or concrete it will wear out very soon.

The thing in the OP does not have that problem: it rolls all over! Or rather all in!
