Let's remember Rule 5 and get back to non-partisan humor. This is not the forum for political debate unless it has to do with legalization of our hobby.

+1

One man's political humor is another man's grievous insult. It's almost safer to joke about religion or silicone in the vapor path. :)

Yeah, very funny, I thought so too! Currently in Scotland actually Wooteck! Newton Stewart. Setting up a distillery. Doing training on gin and wheat whisky and single malt whisky. I'll be back in Glasgow tomorrow evening. If that is in your neck of the woods ... how about dinner together? Or a beer?

Odin,
I have heard, Trump plans penalty taxes for still imports from Europe. What do you think about?

Trump is doing what is best for his country, like every president/prime minister IS SUPPOSED TO DO!

Now, enough of the political talk please.

Calm down. It was only a joke.
But I will remind you, when you feel the need to post something political again.
BTW, "Location: Socialist Republic of NS, Canada" is breaking rule #5 too. Or don't you think, if I would write "Location: Outside Fascist Dictatorship of USA", it was ok?

The builder writes about the still:

translated:
Hello, I built this still steampunk style, what means, like the people of 1900 thought about how the future will look like.
I took as many as possible original-parts (ebay). It runs without electric, but with wood fire, petroleum light, manual crank for the furnance blower and agitator. And a built-in grammophone plays music. Copper, brass, steel, wood and glass. No paint or synthetics, but a bar, a toolbox and a laboratory. I build it since 7 years and it will need some more years...

Has he thought of firing the still with the product that comes out of it?

Nice forum too! I have to get used to the format, though.

That's nice work. I love steampunk, but I don't have the patience or creativity or something.

I wouldn't know, I am from a higher part of the Netherlands.
But I am told in Holland, where most dykes are, schoolchildren have to practice every friday and line up to stick their finger in a dyke.
