Hey Guys, Long time no see/talk.
Quick question. We have been contacted by a brewery that is interested in having us distill their beer, kind of to see what it turns out like. The question I have is, what forms (if any) are needed to transfer the beer from their brewery to our DSP? I know with spirits it is a Transfer in Bond, but I cannot find the form for beer to DSP.
I am probably missing something, but any help would be appreciated.

Re: Distilling a Breweries Beer
There was a thread about this very thing on the ADI forums. I believe the answer was to treat the wash from the brewery just as if it was fermented in your facility. Keep track of the pounds of raw ingredients that went into the brewery's mash and reflect that on your monthly production report on page 2.thisguy wrote:Hey Guys, Long time no see/talk.

Re: Distilling a Breweries Beer
Thanks for the response,
That's what the TTB said. I couldnt find a thread for it on ADI.
For those who are wondering though:
Language on the Brewers Bond has to say they can transfer the beer to DSP as distilling material.
Then in terms of paper work, an invoice is suitable.
For grain, just get the grain bill and add it to monthly reports.
Just like you said.
