A local water district is selling blue barrels for $15 for the no lid kind or 20 for the removable lid kind. And they come with a drain to install. I already have the 1 1/4. Ins hole saw. So all I gotta do is drill a hole in the top for the airlock and near the base for the drain. Easy least for 20 plus tax

Do a few ferments so you know the height of your yeast bed beforehand and you will want a spigot to make life mo'bettah when you want to drain.

I pick up spigots at my LHBS for a couple of bucks, and just use a step bit and drill out a hole for it a little above where the trub bed will be.

Lol well ya like I am gonna move 55 gal drum full of wash. I can't even move the 10 gal tote. Working great. But if I can do a much bigger ferment I can do all stripping one day and have enough low wines tobdo a couple spirit runs the next day and to dilute the low wines with some wash for the most flavor. I am excited about up sizing my operations a bit.
