Air cooking liebig condenser

Post by Punisher85 »

New here, new to distilling. I ran my crappy new still through a test run distilling some water while awaiting my mash. I wound up using a 5 gallon bucket, pump and some hose to just recirculate and try to conserve some water, which led me to find out that my recirculated water, when constantly exposed to steam, warms up.

Who knew.

Anyway, this led me to wondering if it's possible to air cool a liebig and have it so be effective. I know the blowers for bouncy houses put off a lot of air, I've used them to cook down molds. My thought was to redirect all the air flow into the condenser, but I thought I would convene the high council and see if it was a viable option.

I saw a different air cooled box condenser, so I'm thinking my idea work in theory
