Crap! Ideas?
Ok, I know I am new here, but got a 100l fusti for a boiler. Well the brand I bought is a Sansone that looks just like the rest. The issue is the mouth of the lid is 9.5 inches across and the opening is 8.75 . Looks like the milk can triclamp lid isn't going g to fit. Ideas for a work around? I know I can have a ferrule welded to the lid but the threads I doubt are meant to hold weight.

Re: Crap! Ideas?
Similar problem with my milk can. Irregular sized opening.
I found a stainless steel cake stand with a base that matched. Had that welded to the milk can and a 4" ferrule welded to that. I can get my arm through it and down to the bottom for cleaning, so it works for me. Once you find something suitable and strong enough, you could always get a 6" or 8" ferrule welded on and use a reducer (if your arms aren't as thin as mine).

Those drums do not have the welded base, and have the gasket at the bottom of the bottom, they are good for storing the oilDbcooper wrote:http://m.ebay.com/itm/Sansone-Stainless ... 2471144250
