You betcha! Original plan was to fly back from Vancouver to Amsterdam via Chi City. Turns out somebody changed that to Toronto ...

Rager, class will be just 30 clicks northwest of NYC.

I will be heading home from San Francisco on the 30th of October but not sure how many days we will stay on the Oregon coast on the way home. We have a condo in Downtown Vancouver I can probably book for a night or two and bring my wife up to visit if your interested.

That's right about Clifton, NJ. Not going to Corrado's, are ya?

The schedule changed a little bit. No stop in Toronto. I will fly back from Vancouver to Amsterdam via Chicago. Problem is ... I just have like 1 1/2 hours over there! Leaving for Washington DC in a day and a half!

Been to Vancouver several times, great city, loved every minute.

Sorry you have to go thru O'Hare, worst airport ever! Never had a good experience there.
Of the 6 flights I "had" to go thru there, 5 were delayed over 3 hours and 3 of those then were cancelled.
I could have rented a car to get home in less time if they would have just cancelled them up front.
Then there was the rat incident in the terminal I am still trying to get past.

Anyway, Safe Travels!

I will let you know where I stay, Grappa. Tomorrow probably, when the mss tells me how & what & when. Blind without here. If you can propose a bar somewhere close to where I am staying, or between your place and mine ... let's meet and have some fun! I can't bring any drinks, I am affraid, but for sure will buy you one (or two)!

Touched down a few hours ago. Currently in PA. Just finished a dinner full of shrimp in a sports café. Doing some emailing and stuff ... and then it is off to bed!

Okay, here we will be! How about someone that knows Vancouver better than I do ... suggests a bar/restaurant and we all meet up there on Sunday at 7 pm?

Sorry, I can't make it. We are having a party Sunday in Seattle for my wife's mother as she turns 90. We are expecting over 90 people in attendance and my brother in law and I have rented a restaurant (Same one but different location that I took you to for clam chowder Odin) and are paying for the catering and champagne.

Chowder ... that was a great place to visit!

Odin, your choice of hotel is about 45 minutes from my place, and close to 1 1/2 hour drive from the airport.... you sure you want to be out that way? Not close to downtown Vancouver at all...but I guess that's where your business takes you huh??

Acutally fairly close to me! I cross at Lynden, go west on Hwy 1, north on Golden Ears Way (?), and west on Hwy 7, and I would be there!

Anybody else going to meet Odin?

Testing a masher as we speak. And here's a picture of me assembling a distilling device. Darn tired. On the other hand, things are progressing well ... and yesterday I got to see the Washington Wizzards beat the St Antonio Spurs. Great game!
