Plenty of free camping out in the bush. Lots of lakes around here have public landings for camping (most are from old logging roads leading to the lake, but kept in decent condition, and the areas gradually expanded from campers). If you like to canoe, check out Quetico . . . strict guidlines in that provincial park, even a no live bait rule. But beautiful country.

I hear ya . . . my truck is the same. '98 durango with 5.2 It's ok if you don't have a heavy gas foot . . . but I didn't get something with a bit of get up and go just to be light on the gas foot lol.

Either way, a meet would be nice. Not sure where i'll end up. Depends on time of year i can get out. I kinda want to trip to WV to visit a town some of my family was born, but also want to head to Texas to visit a friend that moved there from here some time back and haven't seen in a few years. But if there is an Ontario meet i could always include that in a trip along the way to WV

Yeah they left about 1924, back in the 1980s a nice Dutch couple had the property and showed my grandparents through the house and farm. Not 100% exactly where it was but grandad said he lived on the longest street in the world (at the time).
Ibr seen pictures lovely old two story place.

I have an option for all following/planning to attend. Do we have S3CD on the same day as S3?, or do we schedule it on a different date? If we do schedule a different day.....when? I can pretty well set my schedule to whenever....what about you? If we have it on the same day I plan to link the two via Skype or some other similar program.

Ya I was talking about the s3 meet in WV. We as a group here can get together anytime. I'd be down with what our original plan was. My kayak needs to see some water thus spring for sure. I have a fishing tourney in may and steelhead opens last Saturday in april.

Otherwise let's start making some solid plans.

I'm about 2-1/2 hrs from the bridge to Windsor.
Drove through there years ago on my way up to New Hampshire...

Not sure what my work situation will be in August, but I'm hoping to make WV. Not sure how I will get there, but if I drive and have room, I'll post for anybody on the way. It'll probably be a last minute thing for me. Like I said, depends on work and transportation.
