Harvest time again

Post by shadylane »

It's once again, the time of year when the farmers have started the harvest.
I've been pulling a grain buggy again this year, so I've been hauling ass and grain from the combine to the 18 wheelers.
Figure a bushel or two of grain will follow me home

Some of the farmers I know are emptying the grain bins from last years harvest to make room for this years.
A bumper crop and low grain prices, is almost as bad as a crop failure.

The farmers are starting to harvest the corn around here, having to take a break from all the rain but will be at it again soon I suppose.
Seems a bit early this year but I'm not a farmer sooo. I guess some planted earlier than others but the combines are geared up and rolling.
