Re: Whisky bid to harness rugby spirit
Rugby players and spectators drink lots of beer. Whiskey is for the commentators sponsors an investors. OK 'harnessin the spirit' may be in the spirit of the latter.

Ayay,
Rugby players do drink alot of beer but we also like spirits just the same. I played at hooker and looose head prop for a team in the Texas Rugby Union. Lots of folks were professionals, doctors, lawyers, businessmen and were very loyal to the sports and its sponsors. These guys would definitely benefit with a few well placed sponsorships of regional teams, both union and sevens. Wish them all the best, never understood why rugby didn't become as popular in US as it should have. I 'm sure anyone here would love to get a sample of the New Zealand product.
