I want to make a whiskey of sorts. Been a brewin for 6 months and so far made a number of good neutrals and a couple of great rums. Want to make a scotch whiskey without the trouble of dealing with the grains, etc. I've read you can use liquid malt in the same manner as I use molasses for rum. was going to use the malt that homebrewed beer is made from. Should I use a similar ratio as molasses? has anyone tried it, if so, what were the results like?
