So, i tried 2 new things on my last corn batch, i added rolled oats and was anticipating the flavor characteristics, i also added backset to the dry corn and let it sit before i mashed it all together.
My q is why does it have a raisin flavor?
Was it the oats or the backset?
After being open jarred for a week it has mellowed in both smell and taste and isn't that bad now but, just wondering what brought raisins to the table.
Bad thing is, i told myself not to add the backset till next time but, i didn't listen.
