Federal lawsuit challenges illegal distilling

Post by Soft batch »

Might there be hope for those of us here in the US? They are challenging the legality of the federal ban instead of trying to pass a new law.

Rich men north of Richmond will see to it that this never goes anywhere.
You're more likely to see unicorns in the zoo before you see home distilling legalized in the US.
Fear and ridicule are the tactics of weak-minded cowards and tyrants who have no other leadership talent from which to draw in order to persuade.

There are things in the US I thought would never be legal in my lifetime.

Home Wine and beer making is, and that was a big anti lobby. You never know.

To be sure, I’m not holding my breath, but I am holding out some hope!
I just read an article about the dangers of drinking that scared the crap out of me.

That’s it. No more reading!

It wasn't nearly as big in the 70's when Jimmy Carter leaned in to help his brother Billy.

Listen, you can talk all you want in this forum but unless you actually take a stand it’s meaningless. Call your rep. Say hi and ask them to support the effort. The thing is, few people actually vote for anything other than President. Be one of the strong. Take action.
