Awhile back, I got together the hardware to turn my wine fridge into a heat control environment for my fermenters.
I sort of gave up on the idea, since the fridge will only hold one vessel at a time, and now, I always have more than one bubbling away at any given moment!
So, I thought of making an over grown Ice-chest out of 2" Polystyrene, that a local home improvement store sells.
1 1/2 sheets of 2" insulation, and a roll of good Duct tape. That's it.
I have a 25 watt Brew-belt in there, which keeps the heat stable.
It's been in use for a couple of months now, and it works Perfectly! The temperature is stable, within a couple of degrees, and the price was right; about $22
