Fermenting on the grain is honestly not my favorite thing in the world of things but what don’t we do for the arts. But after draining snd squeezing I’m left with liters of ”gunk” when the racked wash has stabilized. In my case 6 liters out of 38, which is 16% of the total.
What do you guys do with the ”gunk”? Do you stripp it along with the rest? Do you keep it for a 1 1/2 spirit run? Toss it? Are there any house wife cures to transform it to a les viscous wash?
