Im about to try this wash after only previously using turbo yeasts and will be doing it through an air still - will only be doing a 25l wash also.
I know I wont need to run the distillate through a carbon filter with this wash but will I still need to add cooper in the still with this wash ?

I did everything as per the directions supplied , made 750ml of nuetral spirit and diluted with water to make 1 litre. when tested with a hydrometer it gave me a 38% reading. have never had a problem like this with a dry mouth from drinking Jack Daniels / Jim Beam etc which leads me to beleive I hav...

I have recently sampled my first batch off bourbon made using my air still and turbo yeasts , after drinking it has given me an extremely dry mouth for 48 hours.
Is there something I may have done wrong for this to happen ?

Ive heard that by putting spirits into fridge/freezers directly after making speeds up the aging process? true/false ?
I put one bottle into a cold fridge for 24 hours and noticed that the volume went down by around 25mls from doing this , is this normal ?
