While I'm waiting for my wash to finish up and the weekend to come so I can distill. I decided to build a parrot, I used copper from lowes and plumbing solder that said no lead... is this going to be safe to use? How should I go about cleaning it out?

Thanks for the quick replies. I quess I'll put it off till next weekend. That should give me time to build a parrot. I don't see a need to rush anything.

I started a Gerber wash 5 days ago and am still getting activity through the air lock. About 2-3 seconds between burps. This is my first batch ever, do I wait until there is no activity at all? Thanks for all the replies. I started my Gerber wash yesterday and tested my equipment for leaks and figured out how to use it with water. I'll be putting it all together this coming weekend.
