Re: Airstill newbee

Well I said I would let all know how my first Birdwachers turned out. It was a slow fermenter and only managed to get it down to 1003 before it pooped out, had a temp problem, now resolved with a brew belt. The spirit is very very very clean compared to turbo's and no need for filtering, so so very ...

Re: All Bran Recipe

What was your starting SG, just trying to work out what cups equate to in KG, do you have to invert sugar or could you just throw it in the bin with boiled water, would like to make 5 gallons and dont have a big enough pot to boil that in.

Re: Airstill newbee

Just one quick question about my wash.
It has nearly finsished rementing now, only a few bubbles, it has got a bit of a milky look to it, perhaps a little gray (has carbon in it) is this normal, doesn't have any bad smells of a white film on top.

I know I'm a stress head!!!!

Plonker,

My still is 4 litres, instructions say to take the first 700/750 ml and discard what's left, if I then run this through the still again do I mix it back up with water and if so how much water do I dilute each run with?
