the box says "set pipe flush with bottom of box" this is because for a while I was building boka heads that allowed people to just slip couple 2" sections of pipe onto them to make there own boka The box was assembled out of 1" x 3" pine and made to fit the pipe tight enough...

Just for reference I only ran the 1st example and found it did what I wanted , 45% (90 proof)hearts with a sweet corn taste .

Made this tool to power wash my keg
Made a cleaning wand to wash my keg.
1/2" tubing with a brass hose adapter, cut in half, soldier the hole shut and then drilled with 1/16" holes.
Works like a charm for sticking it in the keg and giving it a nice douche'.

You can cool your distillate as it come out. Any reading you take with an alcohol meter has to be corrected for temperature. The method you envisioned will work. On my personal still I ran my output line along a liebig on the VM portion of the still. This cools the distillate prior to entering the p...

If you want to spout your corn for malting.
Go to a grain store ask for "seed" corn.
Some corn is irradiated which keeps it from sprouting.
This is usually used in food or as feed corn.
So it's Seed not feed.
