I recently aquired an old copper pot type still it has been sitting in a building for several years i have scrubbed it and washed out with vinegar and water but still have a yellow residue inside. it has also sulphated in spots.i was thinking of trying muratic acid(diluted 8 to 1 with water)has anyo...

Peeked at my cracked corn mash today its still working.it is definately DRY itll make you pucker up like suckin on a lemon.

I just paid $6.50 for #50 of ADM brand cracked corn at my local feed/farm store near Fayetteville Ark. its nice and clean with lots of powder( flour ).it is the best looking/smelling cracked corn i have seen in a while. you might ask for it by name at your local supplier.

I will get some pics as soon as i can.I bought it off craigslist from a guy cleaning out some old stuff his father had stored.he didnt know what it was. i paid 80 bucks for it( before i told him what it is ).figured if nothin else i could scrap it for the copper and come out ahead.
