Anybody tried brown sugar instead of granulated sugar? Would it make difference in taste/flavor? Thanks for the help guys! After bringing them to work i weighed them and found it was more like 50 lbs of apples!! on adding water... should i add just enough to get the specific gravity up to a certain point? or just enough to use my hammer drill with the mixer attachment to mix the heck out of it?...

I have ordered a SS pot still from milehi and have read that you must have some copper somewhere along the vapor trail to remove sulfides from the alcohol. if i use a copper parrot will that do the trick or does it need to be in the vapor path? sorry if this has been covered, been doing tons of read...
