metal roof shouldnt be too bad depending on what kind it is. most metal roofs are alumnum nowadays which shouldnt be too bad but d look into that... besides all the stuff you may have from animals or trees etc that would run into it.

well you could prolly work the foreshots out but with the ec1118 yeast you shouldnt have too much trouble i used it for an apfelwein recipe(which when done with the originally reccomended montrachet it is known for the evil hangover) and a hard lemonade and the hangover was minimal.

haha these excuses are great. i think here they dont even think about home distillers. just brewing beer baffles people when you tell them about it and then they try it and got big grins on their faces... theyre gonna love it when i invite them for some homemade whiskey. besides i live near 5 prison...

im kinda lucky where i am ive never heard of anyone getting busted for distilling although some are even known as sellers. theres 5 prisons relatively close and theres almost always something more important to deal with. plus i dont think simply personal distilling has nearly the kind of consequence...
