i bent the tip of a small flat blade screwdriver in get it in somewhere under the circlip and hook onto it and pull and pry it out took about 15secs to get 1 out then for the other 3 the basically fell out using this method the first one on the other hand ended up with a carbide burr to get it out l...

just wondering if getting 97% from a bw wash is ok to water down and drink or does that mean i did a good job, ( straight in a reflux still no stripping run just nice and slowly run)

hey birdwatcher do i have to strip with a pot still or will it work out ok with just a reflux still, i went the fools way and purchased a turbo500 still ??

thanks guys for the help i checked it again today and its still the same i think i might run in this weekend
i don't think im going to use turbos anymore ( only done 2 )just from what everyone is saying on here i think it may be a good choice

the hydrometer i have is meant to be read at 20degrees so i dont think it really needs to be adjusted does it??

i have a wash on and it was at 980 so i siphoned it into another fermenter about 4 days ago now its at 900 is that good or bad it is a turbo yeast with 6kg sugar fermented at 22degrees Celsius for 5 days till it stopped next time im gonna try a birdwatchers recipe im new to this game and have done 1...
