Striker, I don't condone under-age drinking - I would never have done that :wink: But if the brew shop give you any grief just tell them it's for a school project to do with conversion of starch to sugars. you'll find malted barley in a brewshop And rye flour in many large grocery stores. HEB has it in Texas. ok for the rye... but is there any way you can buy barley from an off the shelf grocery store. Walking into a brew shop at my age, and buying something would look a little ummm... obvious. Unles...

I would love to know where I could get malted barley, and rye in the USA. I know where I can get some cracked corn. ok so should i try to force the juices out of the inflamed corn flakes to to get as much as possible, or should i just get the standing alcohol and throw the rest away?
