My still set right next to the deep freezer all I would have to do is run copper in the side and out the bottom. That a free heat exchanger.

See I was just wanted an build flute and put my own spin on it. I was trying to cut the size with a water chill because I'm getting two barrels to try aging some and space is limited.

Using refrigerant to cool condenser

Has anyone tried use refrigerant to cool their still. I'm and Hvacr contractor and I was thinking of running 408a though two the two condenser using a txv to meter the refrigerant or building a mini water chiller using fourshot and amonia and the refrigerant. So think I could get a way with it being...

After I ran it all i let it set over night and just don't like the flavor. My wifes best friend how ever go so drunk because I didn't water it down at all she tried sleeping with her. Sounds good but my wife was quit unhappy.

Well I got sweetfeed they said had no pellets but well it did. So I bought it and I've got 20 gallons fermenting just like KS's recipe. So I'll let you know in a week or so. If nothing else I'll reflux the crape out of it and make neutral run out of it. I used a littel more yeast it help eat the pel...

Still working out some kinks after about 3gals of output the bolts around flang on the bowl slated blowing vapor out if flour one and the the next started leaking after two then the third one started. I just gave up and all fix it after school and finish up the batch.

I'm into the head on first true run I've got about 12 gals of the 30 gals of low wine. Running 75% reflux comming out crystal clear and about 194 proof. It's a turbo yeast just as a starter but it's the Oklahoma heater warms ya up from inside out. I can arleady tell you am going to build a big flute...

I just add Teflon washer under the bolt heads on the interal side if bowl that hold still.

I'm using bowl to connect to still and it's leaking

Bowl is leaking and I can't get it to stop. The only thing I didn't Bend washers. It's also leaking aroud belts. I tried flour paste to get it to stop but only patched it around the outside of bowl. HELP!!! I have cork as a gasket.

Ok I got the vapor knocked down just fine now. Best part is that now I've got 20 gals of low wine ready to run in just a few days when I get time. So I'll let you know how it goes. I used tourbo yeast because I had already bought it. So next I'm going to try the birdwash. Wash me luck!

So your saying with low cooling flow lowering the temp of water will accomplish the same thing. The main thing is after Christmas I was low on cash and bought a realy cheap pump.

Does anyone have any help on this. I built a valve reflux still 2" by 28" with two 2" by 1 1/2" with double 1/4" coil about 12 ft long in 3". Please help!!!!

As far as an outlaw Ive been out five years now and this is the only thing I've done that ever close to breaking the law just don't call my parlol officer. Happy New Years all.

I don't think that I have enough cooling flow. Because I'm not getting all kinds of vapor out the top end even when I turn fire all the way down. I'm using a small sump-pump but I think I'm going to tap water just to improve flow or add ice I'm out of time tonight.

A valves reflux. I'm more In to the pot but my wife likes clear spirits so for the same of it I started with the reflux. Then I build what I realy want.

Starting constrution on my first still.

I got the last piece of pipe today. I'll be building my first still in the next few days. Just wanted to brake the ice. I'm from Tulsa Ok.
