Re: How many saddles to fill T500 column?

If you want to get it right the first time, you should think in terms of the volume (space) you need to fill. What is the volume of column space that you need to fill, and how much packing ...

Re: Fire starter pellets/slugs

Bit of an old thread, but since winter is coming up i've been thinking about this. I'm thinking of getting a pack of small plastic catering sauce containers. You can get something like 100 of them for $10. Then stuff them full of cottonballs(To stop any sloshing/spillage) and fill with feints. I *T...

Re: Does the height of the bubble caps matters?

The height of the riser inside tje caps, the height of the slots in the caps and the height of the downcomer above the plate and the height of the vapour lock on the downcomer is important. The vapour path between the cap and riser and slots should be as close to equal so pressure does not build up...

And the P/T chart doesn't have an adjustment chart to calibrate to for attitude / season /and atmospheric pressure so we all calibrate equal right.

Re: Does the height of the bubble caps matters?

This "topic" thread, is going to confuse newbs because the pic is not the standard bubble cap that is used in most of our cap plate build threads. So I felt it needed to be said. All bubble baps are not the same.
