Re: Wineos Plain Ol Sugar Wash

Have done my first batch which I did in a 5 gallon fermenter so I reduced sugar content to 7lbs. Have just put another 2 x 5 gallon washes on and this time have used 4 ...

Re: Wineos Plain Ol Sugar Wash

Hi folks, I am going to have a go at this recipe but need to check first. I am based in the UK and want to clarify the measurements given, does tsp mean teaspoon as in UK or tablespoon. Also I am going to try bakers yeast for the first time, can this be reused on the next run or is it better to use ...

Re: Does anyone use aquarium heaters or airstones???

Thanks for sharing your experience and info. Have ordered 100 watt heater to go into my 25ltr fermenter and will leave airstone until I see something positive about them.

Does anyone use aquarium heaters or airstones???

Hi guys, I am trying to produce the cleanest tasteless neutral from sugar washes, have read somewhere that aquarium heaters can be used to maintain wash temperature (this is in the primary fermenting stage) and that airstones can be used to aerate wash when fermenting. has anyone used either of thes...
