Re: Bubble Tray's?

[the book, "Distillation Operation" by Henry Z. Kister has everything you could ever ask about distillation plates. It is a very good book. http://www.amazon.com/Distillation-Operation-Henry-Z-Kister/dp/007034910X" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nof...

Re: Bubble Tray's?

What i was thinking was cutting 2" copper pipe in 10 inch sections for a total of 4 roughly equalling a 40" column (sections and plates debatable!) Cutting 4 peices of copper sheeting in squares of 2 1/4 Now to make the bubble caps. This is where i would like some comments on design specs,...

Anyone use a V Vessel?

Since it is made of plastic, theoretically, it will have a fine texture and the yeast and nutrients can hang on the the sides and not exactly make it down to the collection bulb...

Turbos!!!why so much sugar

hey, so i have done some experimenting with "winoe's" recipes and i dont understand why in a Turbo, using an 8kg Turbo , it asks you to use 8 kg of sugar and then in "winoes" recipe and just like much of the others, they ask for only 7-8 pounds, thats a huge difference. So my que...

I just have studs (bolts with the heads cut off) welded to the outside of my keg. No holes required. The bolts aren't in line with the seal, so that system works fine. iI never though of that doing that, if i had waited and saw this thread, this would have been the way to go i uses SS 3/8's nuts co...
