#6. Pears, Not as good as I hoped, lots of bite. I may have used the wrong pears. I think they were Bartlet, definitely too soft. A harder cooking style might be better. I did something similar with pear and it took about a couple of years before it became delicious. For the longest time, it was a ...

There has been no link between the two companies for 12 years. Ok, but are you using their email list? Also, it would be great if you included an unsu...

In my case, I bought some bits and bobs from Brewhaus Canada. This was like several years ago and the Canadian guy swore up and down that BC had nothing to do with the US corp. In fact, when I contacted them later about something I saw on the US site, he again reiterated that the two corps have noth...

Vinegar's a great idea. There seems to be a renewed interest in good/real vinegar these days.

Do you know what kind of bread they make down the road?

Goose is right about honey, up to a point, but people will pay good cash for local honey.

Have you thought about making craft bread, PP? You got that excellent mill close by. Good money in dough.

Goat milk yogurt is amazing too. I buy it from a guy at the local farmers' market and we love it. The only criteria is the milk has to be absolutely fresh 'cause nobody likes a goaty hoof yogurt.

Start at a u brew shop that carries grain.

Or

Track down on of the many home brew clubs in Ontario and ask them for some leads. If you were in Vancouver you could have purchased at Dan's Homebrew in east Van. Shouldn't be too hard. Good luck.
