NZ stock feed molasses??
Come spring I can get bulk molasses real cheap from a cocky when he gets his vat filled as long as I have containers there for him to fill as his vat gets filled. I presume all stock feed molasses in nz are all imported from the one supplier so I am wondering if any one on this forum in NZ has or do...

Your diagram doesnt show any way to direct the spirit once condensed to your pipe for out take: so by the looks of it all condensed vapour will just drop back from condensor to top of the packing. allso out take is at 90o to your column so even if spirit was redirected to it it would not flow to wel...

vodka from potatoes?
From what I understand vodka used to be made from fermenting potatoes. Has any one tried this and if so what is the procedure and the approx yields? here spuds can be a lot cheaper than sugar lol
