NZ stock feed molasses??

Come spring I can get bulk molasses real cheap from a cocky when he gets his vat filled as long as I have containers there for him to fill as his vat gets filled. I presume all stock feed molasses in nz are all imported from the one supplier so I am wondering if any one on this forum in NZ has or do...

I myself think that its near impossible to make any whisky that tastes like a particular brand with vodka and essences. Just experiment with the essences available and find one you like. I was a big Jim Beam fan myself now I prefure my own vodka flavoured with just premium bourbon

vodka from potatoes?

From what I understand vodka used to be made from fermenting potatoes. Has any one tried this and if so what is the procedure and the approx yields? here spuds can be a lot cheaper than sugar lol

I use and recomend turbo express 24 hour.. stillspirits I make a 25litre mash with 25kg of sugar and its finnished fermenting in three days at 26deg c I just have a loose lid on the fermenter no airlock. run an aquariaum heater inside it to keep it to temp

an easy test to see if its tails or something else. in the middle of your run collect a couple of hundred mills seperately and water it down. If it doesnt turn cloudy it must be tails that caused the cloudiness
