I too am having trouble locating a keg. My buddy owns a bar but he said all the kegs he sees now are aluminum and have rubber linings. I would do a beer party/no return if I knew what brand came in SS.... anybody in US have any idea?

I heared ya! For some dang reason I was still seeing a pot still wtih a column too... but just the head right onto the boiler makes more sense now.... thanks again. My keg connection failed... all he could find was AL kegs with rubber linings... but we are still looking... Have a good weekend feller...

Hey guys thanks for the info. Husker, I am not done with the still yet but am going with the plans for the valved reflux frommoonshine-still.com/. I have seen some guys if different forums seem to like this design. However, I am a man who is flexible on his ideas... so you suggestion is make the off...

THAT is why I am here..... that is great info and I am leaning more and more toward a pot still keg dsign... I can get the keg(s) but the design I am still unsure of..somebody on the board used "Bill Lemans:? sp design any better plan source???

Thanks for the info fellers... Perhaps I will do a bit more considerin... I like the idea of a beer keg still, I got a plumber buddy that would help I am sure... Maybe I will wait. The package deals just seem easy to start with.. but if I am gonna do it, I would hate regretting spendin money on some...
