Unless you're selling and the government is missing out on the taxes, they don't care. Period. Sell beer and they will jump on you the same, it's a tax issue. As far as precidents, I went down that rabbit hole back in 2013 or so and there has never been, to that date, anybody ever charged in Canada ...
