I added a cup of dried grapes to my rum ( in addition to oak chips) and lost around 10% to the rum gods. it sounds like the same is happening here some alcohol is absorbed by the fruit. you can always run the distillate after soaking through a filter and then check with your alcolator, should give y...

ok managed only 2 runs today and have about 1L of 130proof so far, I only did 2 runs cause its my first fruit wash.
