Re: 200 gallon still

Except if you got a proper licence for it, of course. I wouldnt say that Hook, some of us havent got the time to run a still once a week or even on...

they look pretty good, might be just what I need, its a shame that you have to bid on them and just can't buy it. Just a couple of other questions jd. How are you powering it? Also, do you know what brand it is, i might try and buy it somewhere other than ebay I gather it's not a submersible (thats...

Re: Yeast Storage
Im guessing its fresh yeast and not dried yeast???
Do not freeze fresh yeast, just keep it in the fridge
If its dried yeast, try to keep the packet sealed,it doesnt need to go into the fridge, just keep it in the cupboard

Re: What's the highest safe alcohol percentage to drink straight
About 6 months ago I had a tooth that needed pulling, one night I plucked up the courage to pull it myself, I took a swig of some 96%, swirled and swallowed it and extracted the tooth with a pair of plyers. I don't recommend drinking 96% but it certainly makes a great numbing/pain killing aid. Man ...

Sorry Punkin, I also dissagree. Ugly pretty much hit my mood right on. It's not that I hate the hobby. If I hated the hobby I'd be buying shop bought every week not slaving over a undersized cooker. It's more the fact that work takes approx 80hrs a week away from me. Then I like to wookwork in my s...

I mainly only make neutral so drink a lot of vodka.
The flavors I do like are Bodines sour mash bourbon(its the best bourbon I have tasted yet )
Top shelf citrus vodka(this is great stuff, drink it with lemonade and it tastes like a lemonade icy poll )

I would run it and see how it goes mate Sounds like it was nearly finished fermenting so the alcohol percentage should be able to ward off a few bugs.
