Re: If you just watched at TV show about distilling, read this.
I love researching things. I know everything there is to know about distilling has been answered in this forum and I know I can search for it, But I HATE the fact that when you select a post you think might have the answer and it doesn't and you want to go back to your search results, the page will ...

I know what they were trying to say. It's based on all the crap we injest into our body on a daily bases that the plastic is no more harmful than anything else we eat. McDonald's any one.

As a memeber of the medical society, if we go by what only what the story tells us then yes the Doctor can be sued for breaking HIPPA's Confidentiality and patients rights. Even treating those on drugs are protected under these guidlines.

cold weather yeast
Hey all,
It's been awhile sence I needed to ask a question, and one has come up.
It's getting colder where I'm at and I ferment in 50 gal containers outside. just need to know what type of yeast I can go with that will ferment in colder temps?
I'll be running UJSM durring the winter if this helps.

Get in touch with one of the U.S. soldiers from Yongsan. You want to get with one of the Engineers and tell them what it's for. I'm sure if you give them some you will be amazed what doors will open for you.

Even if there were no scientific support for it, I would still do it because I feel it works and it give me that confidence.

Only a real man would have came up with the ideal of distilling in a latrine. You can keep an eye on your distilation and still take care of business. I salute you sir.

To "B" or not to "B"
I've read in several post about adding a womans multivitamin into the recipes to add the B vitamin. Is this just to add this one vitamin or are the other additives equily important? I only ask because if it is just for vit. B why not just use a B complex vitamin?

Don't wast your money on any of the kits for sale. Expecialy WATER4gas and magdrive. your best bet is to make one. A great generator and one I made is the smacksbooster. I don't know what you drive but if it's fuel injection you will have problems with the O2 sensors thinking the fuel mixture is run...

I agree. I make more than I drink. I like to share and drink with friends. Problem being that my friends like my product better than the store bought.

just had to share this with everyone. I did a run of UJSM and did my cuts in several mason jars. Thanks to Tater's recipes I'm a little low on my jars I use for only distilling, so I decided to clean up some old jars I used for pickling. Even though I soaked them in bleach and washed them in the dis...

I'm no expert but I'll say chill haze. If it's good drink yourself. If it's not good give to friends. If it's down right "throw-up" discusting, give to in-laws.

I must say, yes we have a beer page on this forum but he would be better going to an ALL beer forum. I would also recomend joining a beer club. The club will allow you to share your beer and taste others to see how your brewing is growing.

Ok, so I redistilled my old hooch and decided to use my pot still and try and save some flavor. I collected in 100ml jars and got 17 jars. First: No smokey oak flavor. Second: My first 4 jars are smell like rubbing alcohol. Heads I assume. My last 2 jars smell like cardboard and one jar began to get...

Does any one use these? I use a pot still with an alcometer in a Paroit. I have one and thought I could use it to read the temp. change in the copper as to know when to turn down and maintain my heat. I would use this as a precaution from pushing my tails through with to high of heat.

[quote="trthskr4"]That's true V, a little known fact is that the guvmint pays farmers not to grow anything on some of their land. Imagine that.
I get paid more NOT to grow anything than if I had to put the work in to grow something. Now my land is used for hunting.

After I posted I thought about wine bottles. Why ship one bottle? cork and reseal. How many wine drinkers do you think work in an air port? They'll look at it for what it is a bottle of wine. Too many bags to check and not enough low payed people to do it.

I don't know if this will help you but I too was getting the camp fire taste. What I did was soak my chips for 30min. in water than wrap them in alum. foil and slow roast them in the oven or in a smoker like I did. It helped my batch out.
