no need to be sorry about my own lack of ability to read instructions :) And if if didnt work what the heck it cost less then $7 probably to do the wash so if it stuffed up it didnt matter. So I refluxed stilled mine and it tastes a little grain like (hopefully coming out at 92%) whats it taste like...

i attempted this - well sort of I went looking in the local shops for cereal items to use I didnt exactly folow the recipe the site was down when I wanted to make up the wash I tried 4 kilos sugar 20 litres tap water or thereabouts 4 cups of home brand crushed non processed bran flakes(comes in 500 ...

I have bought one, the guy in the brew shop said it was the best one that he carried. He was using one out the back and was using it at the time I went in and he let me have a taste of the product as it was coming out of the still (and some finished product that he had flavoured). Just tried this after recently buying a pure distilling still and doing 2 turbo washes. Much less aftertaste then the turbo washes and it turned out well. I started off with about a 25 liter ferment using the ajusted recipe for 25 litres on page 3 of this thread (plus a little bit of of a multivitam...
