that is saran wrap i used that just because I was making a cork seal and I was keeping the cork in place as it set I'm not running it with saran wrap on there. And yes that is a plastic funnel is that bad?

Hey guys I've read through this post numerous times and I learn something new each time. But I am still confused on a stripping run. I'm using a pot still and I understand this is a fast run but what temperature do you run it at? Do you collect all that comes out and just re distill it?

How do you tell the difference between the two by looking at them? or is there anyway to test them. I'm just worried about drinking methanol.
