did a quick 7lbs rye malt 2lbs barley .5 lbs chocolat rye malt and six gal h20 my question is after i finished and put it in my fermenter. Interesting grain bill. Last week I put down a Maris Otter with 10% wheat. Hoping it turns out as I like Maris Otter. I brew a lot with Golden Promise too

Dumb mistake
Was making a NEIPA and fermenting under pressure. After pitching the yeast was distracted and put the spunding valve on the liquid out post. Needless to say woke up to 6 gals all over the floor. Will be a long day cleaning the sticky mess

If you are just starting off in ag I would just use a base malt . They convert themselves when mashing and make a decent single malt.
