I curently am using a aluminum stockpot as my pot and have been having problems soldering the condenser to it. Turns out you cant solder aluminum. I wish i would of known that before i bought the pot. My question is do you think that jb weld work? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a turkey cooker that i am using as a pot and it is aluminum. I have been trying to solder a copper pipe to it and it won't stick. I have scraped the pot up and still not result.

Im making a simple corn whiskey, im single stilling i think lol (not real sure what that means but i can guess) and the percent wash is 12%. My still is a pot with a 20 ft 3/8" copper pipe that runs a few feet then i turned it into a worm that goes in a bucket that i am goin to fill with water.

I have a small two gallon still that i recently built, and have been wondering how long it should take me to get done doing a run if i fill it 80% full? One other question is how full should i actually fill the pot?

I was watching moonshiners on tv the other day and they made a mash out of bananas. Does anyone know how many bananas i should put in per gallon, and if i should cut them up or anything? Any help would be much appriciated.

I only have a two gallon still that has a copper line running over and turns into a worm which is in a bucket of cooled water. I am wondering what size the worm should be. I have a 3/8" one, but should i go bigger?

How much shine will my mash make?
I made a mash with 2 lbs of sugar, 2 lbs of corn meal, and 2 gallons of distilled water. Im just wondering if anyone knows how much this could possibly make. Another question is how do i know when my mash is done producing alcohol when im cooking it. Very thankful for any help.
