I can tell when its going to start dripping by, use my hand feel the column heat up. The heat has to get all the way up the copper to the liebig then turn on the water and shell start producing.. My 3'' column take a lot of heat to get warm enough .

well my stroke is behind me now , have bigger issues like WV .. taking meds , diet , exercise , no smoke no drink.. doing good except on the no drink part.. Was a wakeup call ,Im told I am young enough to turn it around

Thats what I get on a striping run pot still. 60% =120 proof and drops by each mason jar ,, Now save it all up spirit run with 5 gallons of 40% feints and you will get up around 80% 160 proof

Had a stroke the day before thanskiving . Damn I'm only 52 was lucky caught it quick no physical impairments ... Had some ujssm in the fermentor ran the 10 gallons last weekend .. Thank You God ... had to quit smoking which sucks I wanted to try the tabbacco i harvested this year ...

I did it but not with soft solder , when I tried to get the other side togethert the joint would break had to use hard silver solder. I also tried to make a smaller pipe out of 3" and that didn't work the thickness of 3" was very hard to bend. i think you would be better rolling a sheet of...

well I broke my glass vile for testing , But I had a plexi back up . it worked fine at 120 proof . On my spirit run this weekend I tested 1st jar no problem . 2nd jar the vile just desintegrated in my hand and turned cloudy

As I was striping the UJSSM . Around the 4th quart it started to taste good so I slowed it down and pulled out a drinking pint of 60%. I like this better than the SF..So it seems to me SF = strong flavor UJSSM = Medium flavor, and I expect Bird Watchers to be Light flavor. So I heading toward a Bird...
