Will Turbo Clear cause any problems if used in a Birdwatchers sugar wash recipe? If I dont get my wash cleared tomorrow i will have to wait another week to run it through my reflux.

New Copper Pads
when putting new copper pads in my column i always soak them in sanitizer the rinse them in hot water. Is there anything else I should do before running my first batch thru my still? do i need to run vinegar and water or anything else thru it before my first run?

Re: birdwatcher
I would sure like to try this birdwatcher recipe. I see everyone talking about it but I can't find the actual recipe. When I do a search all I get are thousands of references to it but not the actual recipe. Could someone PM it to me or point me in the right direction?

I have a 2"x20" dual purpose tower on a 3 gal boiler. I would like to upgrade to a beer keg. Will my 20" tower work or do I need to get a taller tower?
