Re: Cheap Bundaberg Molasses

Hey Dan, its been years since i used that stuff but it was around 4L mollasses, 80g bakers yeast to make up 25L wash. Usually dont need additives but if need be, some kale or tom paste. I like white rum and a light taste with some body, i always ran through 3 plates at 88-92%. End of heads and very ...

Re: Cheap Bundaberg Molasses

Yummy is right, I did love it. I was only paying $19.00 for 14kg through local food wholesaler in Melbourne. I got the info through a broker from.the bundy site. Here's the list for different states. Re: Napa Cabbage vegan organic vodka

Nice work mate, I didnt mean to sound like a ass in the kale thread, I just know that threads can go way off point which confuses newbies. Sounds like you have good results with the nappa. Very similar to kale and other washes ive done with beet leaves and veg scraps. Them comparison charts are so v...

Nice boiler, column, controller. The condenser looks so undersize, double the size or a shorgun and you'd have a really nice versitial setup

Re: Googe's Goo AKA The Kale-Sugar Wash

So I love this wash, very clean and any "off" flavor is a light flowery honey sweetness. Which I kinda recently figured out. Kale is one of / the highest source for many carotenoids. Almost as much beta carotene as carrots, more lutein and zeaxanthin than any other food, 2nd only to cabbage for bet...

Re: Bubble Plate Still Flooding

Most flooding is due to thw drains not being big enough. I would have thought 12mm would be ok on 2 inch if 3/4 inch is ok on a 4 inch still. Any chance of a pic of your plates?.

I have always struggled with the end of heads into hearts, taste does it for me. Heads, lip, tounge burn, hearts, back of throat, warming sensation.

I think you've ironed out all the little issues with regards to the drains and the mini rc on the plates is great. Like you said plates are easy to keep loaded.
