Re: My new to me pot still what yall think??
no this setup will work good, i'll be running it outside and then breaking it down and putting it in my garage. I could probally keep it outside all the time but don't want to chance it with the neighbors just in case they were to see through the woods

Thanks guys, Yeah I just have the lynarm just sitting in there and want to try using that paste for those two connections and see how it goes. I do feel it's really on the long side and would like to take a foot outta it. Just have to run it and see.
Thanks
Chris

Haven't run it, I gotta chop on my burner some to get the keg to fit on it. I was just kinda wanting people opinions on the pipe going to the doubler if I should cut it down shorter or not?

I was gonna run water through it but realized it won't fit my burner so tomorrow will be doing some cutting of the burner I guess...

Re: advice on my thump keg
flange is complete and I couldn't be happier with it. I ran it on the belt sander to get a really smooth flat surface and it's dam near perfect. I must say my soldering and copper fabrication for my very first time has come out truly great. I guess those tig welding skills came in handy. I'm pretty ...

I called a couple places today and no luck well they told me to call back tomorrow which I will. Found a plumber supply place near me which will have to pass by tomorrow and see what they got. I figure whatever size I use I'll just use a cut off wheel to cut the pipe. Put a pipe wrap on it draw a li...

Re: different taste of shine each run it seems
Goinbroke2 thanks this guy wasn't adding any oak chips to his shine. I think it's from doing the recipe he did and cutting the recipe in half when maybe he should have done the entire recipe and spent about 12 hours running the entire batch and not recycling it or mayeb not as much anyway. What I'm ...

Re: where can you get 2 inch copper pipe??
That's probably DWV copper pipe (Drain Waste Vent). It's the thinnest of all the various grades, and meant for open (not pressurized) systems for drainage, etc. The good part is...it's lighter than K, L, or M copper, and much cheaper — particularly in larger diameters. But, you might also need to b...

where can you get 2 inch copper pipe??
I know Lowes says on there website you can get 2inch copper pipe from them but it says for this pipe not to exceed 100 degrees while then 1 inch pipe can go to like 350 degree F.
