different box type cereals

I've seen the various recipes on the site pertaining to bran/ gerber and cornflake style product. Has anyone made anything out of anything else in terms of store bought cereal? and to dig a bit deeper, what should I be looking for in the ingredients list of the cereal to help the recipe? With the to...

I've got something similar, but different. Ulna neuropathy.... from the funny bone down to my lower (two small fingers) in both hands. Could be complications from being a type 1 diabetic, or from many sports injuries over the years. Been diabetic for almost 50 years... Usually occurs when I'm laying...

Just chopped up about 175lbs of apples yesterday to get some apple brandy going... warmed up some water to help it start to get soft, and poured it over the apples...not much... pitched some yeast and we'll sit and wait, and mix, and wait...lol....

cleaning a newly made parrot

hey there...just made a parrot (first time) and was wondering if there is a method to clean it out like you would a vinegar run through a still. As the pressure from the still helps with the initial flush of the still, there isn't a "flush" for the parrot-- other than the drip drip drip ou...

Saltbush.... my description of the event's wasn't clear enough I guess-- The outpour was not a drip... it had a good flow to it, not a dribble, The Keg was filled only 3/4 of the way.... It wasn't a legit PUKE.... maybe just a bit to make it a bit cloudy.... we gave it lots of head space in the anti...

3rd Jar cloudy...then clear

Good day everyone... here's a quirky one. We were distilling yesterday, as I've done many times before, -- 10 gal pot over propane, 2 inch piping, -- liquid was a mix of corn and rye that was fermented and filtered so there wasn't any chance of scorching or such.... We were running it hard and fast ...

Re: copper mesh in regular pot still question

TWOSHEDS- thanks for the info... I should have included the following- I've got a 2 inch copper riser coming from the boiler that's about 33 inches in height... so contact with copper is all around this rig. I run it hard and fast, so it heats up pretty good. Would you put more than one roll of copp...

copper mesh in regular pot still question

I've been using a 5 gal and 10 gal pot still with propane for some time, and never thought of this or attempted this: Would it be beneficial to pack a regular 2 inch column with some copper mesh to get a bit of drip to fall back into the pot? Like I said, I've never thought about this until now.... ...

Good day to all... up in the PNW we've had a recent cold snap of weather. No chance of setting up the Blue Tarp and distill a batch without freezing your parts off! I'm using propane, so no inside spaces for me. Anyone else having weather issues that are preventing them from doing what we do... have...

Saltbush Bill : it was a second generation sugar wash so to speak.... I made a vapor based run 10 days ago, all went good. Question for all: how long do you get from a keg (boiler) (life span) in terms of how long do you or would you use it before getting a new one. I have had one for over 9 years.... hi there, I've made this several times. Each time it comes out darker than squid ink! The oxidization of the green nuts makes everything go from a murky green to a dark color. So far so good. What other "ingredients" have you put in? I usually put cinnamon, cloves, star anise seeds in in a...
