Double mason jar thumper?????
If a 2 quart mason jar full of high test works well what would 2,2 quart jars with high test in them do if I heated them up a little to get them working. Or is this just a bad idea or should I just stick to running it through the still twice. Oh and this is on a five gallon pot.

Adding molasses to uncle jessies
If I add some molasses to a batch of uncle jessies for an experiment would alter the flavourful or just up the sugar content. And would it alter it in a good way or destroy a good batch of corn whiskey.

I didn't think so it was clear as glass still when I shut it down and still tasted good. But it is possible I'm still a little green at this. It does mix good with sprite though

Re: Oily look
Now that the ice has melted in my drink the oil look is gone. Is the water in the ice reacting with the alcohol because I have never seen regular booze of any kind do that but then again I never looked that close at it nether.

Yeah pureed them and added sugar had a brain fart but can't wait to see how it turns out. Might have to make a batch of uncle Jesse to get me through. At this rate the uncle j's would be done before the apple brandy. Lol
