I know they are just excuses but... First time out, the FOBs were too small for it, second time was Iraq (Christian store anyone?), third time I made a few Italian friends, and the last time we had a designated brewer.

With enough sugar will the turbo still be nasty?

The still would have to be simple (Mr Distiller, Air Still, EasyStill...). I figured I would start with a wine-wash and progress from there.

Back in Afghanistan for another long stretch and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a simple brew. I was considering getting some sugar and cranberry juice from the chow hall and ordering Turbo Yeast and an airlock. What else am I missing? Suggestions, criticism (this is my fifth time...
