I have had a wash ready for 4 months I forgot I had. It is still sealed with the burping stopper and no mould. Can I distil it as usual without complications or dangers ????

If your wash is 15 percent before distilling is there a reason u can't drink it ?

Ok I will recheck it tomorrow. If it has stopped should I go ahead and run it through the pot still in a week or so after I have racked it a couple of times. This is my first wash.

My wash recipe I followed.... 6 lbs Brown Sugar 1 tsp. Citric Acid 1 tsp. DAP 1/8 tsp. Epsom Salts 12 cups Blackstrap Molasses ( 7 1/2 lbs.) Well I did a Wineo rum sugar wash with molasses. 5 day ferment and the sg started at 1.15 and ended at 1.01. 6 gal wash with 6 lbs brown sugar, 1/8 tsp of epsom salts, 1tsp of citric acid, 1tsp DAP, 3/4 cup bakers yeast and 12 cups or 7 1/2 lbs. of black strap molasses.
