I rinsed it out every time i use it. Never leave anything in the boiler.Only has 1 vinager run, 1 cleaning run, and 3 stripping run on it.Would guess less than 5 hours run time total.

Well pulled my element,it is not stainless at the base. It is just starting to rust. And there was a little of the black slime around the threads.

Grain was strained out but had a few floaters here and there. The run started clear.

Yes it was welded. I did do a cleaning run. cleaned the boiler and my new boka with old feints. I puked the first strip bad, cleaned it up good. Don't think I puked it the second run was low and slow to heat up. Only have 4.5gallons in a 7.5g pot. got the brown floaters on the second run half way th...

I just changed over I electric. Is it normal to get brown ish low wines? Looks like fine grain husk or toasted yeast??? Never had this with my propane. Does not smell or taste burnt. Still is a pony keg with a 4500w element basic pot still. Only running it at 50 %. Heat up and only showing 75v now

Had a gallon wine jug bust on me. Full of 160 proof ujsm. I didn't leave room for expansion was 25-30 in the shed brought it in to the warm house.

Anyone make root beer flavored liquor? Looking for a good starting point. I was looking at the homebrew store ,they have lorAnn oil root beer extract(1 dram) and root beer pop extract kits (makes 4 gallons). :?: root beer schnapps is the wife's favorite.

WEll here is what I did. Took a 1 gallon bottle and cut the bottom off. Did not work out as well as i hoped,But was useable a bit jagged. Put 7 coffee filters around the neck and poured my carbon in(3oz for carbon snake). Watered my triple distilled 50% corn 30% red wheat 20% barley down to 100 proo...

Is this a single run? I had similar "fell"tell i started doing stripping and spirit runs. Not sure it was Dry but had a bit in the back of my throat.
